<p style="font-size: 16px;font-family: Verdana, Geneva, sans-serif;font-weight: normal;color: #222222; line-height: 1.5 !important;">To prevent the SCRATCH filesystem from reaching a critical occupancy level, we plan to activate the automatic cleaning procedure starting on October 5th. The procedure will be implemented in two phases:</p>

<p style="font-size: 16px;font-family: Verdana, Geneva, sans-serif;font-weight: normal;color: #222222; line-height: 1.5 !important;"><em>Phase 1: </em><strong>October 5th</strong><br>The automatic cleaning procedure will run daily removing files older than 60 days from the SCRATCH area.</p>

<p style="font-size: 16px;font-family: Verdana, Geneva, sans-serif;font-weight: normal;color: #222222; line-height: 1.5 !important;"><strong><em> </em></strong><em>Phase 2:</em><strong> November 3rd</strong><br>As already implemented on the other CINECA clusters, the procedure will remove each day files older than 40 days from the SCRATCH area.</p>

Any attempt to circumvent the retention policy, including the deliberate modification of file access times, may negatively affect other users and is therefore strictly prohibited.
