<p>Dear CASPUR Users,</p>
<p>this is a reminder of the upcomping final shut-down of our cluster Matrix, which will occur on December the 31st, 2012 at 24:00, as already communicated in</p>
<p><a class="moz-txt-link-freetext" href="http://hpc.caspur.it/news/shutdown-of-matrix-on-december-31-and-migration-plan-to-fermi">http://hpc.caspur.it/news/shutdown-of-matrix-on-december-31-and-migration-plan-to-fermi</a></p>
<p>The queue system will not be disabled, in order to allow the execution of short computations until the shutdown. All the jobs running at the time of shutdown will be killed.</p>
<p>Note that the /home and /work area will be accessible from the login nodes "matrix[1-2]" after the cluster Matrix shutdown, only until June the 30th, 2013. From January the 1st, 2013, however, service interruptions will be possible.</p>
