Dear FERMI Users,

after a system upgrade some users are experiencing abnormal crash of their jobs.

The problem has been identified, but not yet solved. The problem occurs when there are more than one runjob command in the same batch script. Typical cases are:

1) Sub-blocking jobs;
2) Multi-step jobs;
3) Sequential runjob commands in the same step.

This means that until the problem is not fixed you should not run these kind of jobs.

The problem can be detected in the LoadLeveler notification email if you find negative time values like these:

Job Step User Time: -24855 -3:-14:-8
Job Step System Time: -24855 -3:-14:-8

We apologise for the inconvenience.
Best regards,
