<p>Dear users, </p>
<p>we are happy to announce the important upgrade of our Tier-1 (X86 based) system. <br />The present system (PLX) will be substituted by GALILEO, a large IBM cluster with an expected linpack performance of about 1 PFlops. <br />The switchover will take place at the end of <span class="Object"><span class="Object">January 2015</span></span>. All running projects on PLX and EURORA will be moved to the new platform. <br />More details will follow.</p>
