<p>Dear Users,</p>
<p>following Intel suggestions, we scheduled a massive reconfiguration of all the KNL nodes in the productions queues. All nodes will gradually move from the present setting (half of the nodes in the cache/snc2 modes, and half in the flat/snc2 modes) to the cache/quadrant (mcdram/clustering) modes. We expect the KNL cluster to be completely reconfigured before the end of next week, when submissions requesting other modes will be either rejected or not considered for scheduling.</p>
<p>We consider such a change as the last major cluster setting, giving way to the activation of the accounting of the consumed budget. More detailed information will follow on the actual start of the accounting.</p>
