<p>Dear Users,</p>
<p>This is to inform you that Marconi BDW partition will undergo a major upgrade within a month. To this aim, we plan to shutdown the whole cluster in order to perform these operations, that will involve the whole network apparatus. We expect to start the operations at the end of this month (an additional HPC Newsletter will be sent to announce the actual shutdown date).</p>
<p>As a consequence, Marconi BDW will not be available for a few months. To overcome this limitation, we plan to put into place a set of actions to make sure that most of currently running projects will not be affected during this stop. Full details will be provided by subsequent HPC News communications and/or by your project reference.</p>
<p>We expect to have Marconi BDW back to production by January 2019.</p>
