18/01/2019
Dear users,

on Monday, January 28th, a change in the module environment of GALILEO will
take place. The modules of Intel and Intelmpi version 2017 will be moved from
"base" profile to "archive", and only the corresponding 2018 modules will
remain available in the "base" profile.

Consequently, all libraries and tools compiled with 2017 Intel/Intelmpi and
locatedĀ under "base" and "advanced" profiles will be moved to "archive"
profile, and only the corresponding 2018 versions will be available in the
"base" profile.

About the execution of your codes compiled with Intel/Intelmpi 2017, they
should run with the Intel 2018 Suite without the need to be recompiled,
though we would suggest to use more recent versions of the compiler stack to
generate your binaries. In any case, the old modules will be kept in the
"archive" profile if needed (just load the profile/archive module prior to
the load of the Intel 2017 modules).

In order to map all versions available for a specific module, you can use the
following command :

modmap -m

Best regards,
