Dear users,</p>
<p>we are happy to announce that EuroHPC Joint Undertaking has recently<br />
approved Cineca's expression of interest in upgrading the Leonardo<br />
supercomputer, targeting an increase of 100 PFlops of computing capacity.</p>
<p>The Cineca project seeks both a considerable increase in performance and a<br />
broadening of the use cases addressed with the supercomputing system.<br />
Leonardo improved supercomputing architecture – LISA in short, after the<br />
universally known portrait Mona Lisa by Leonardo da Vinci – will exploit<br />
the modular architecture of Leonardo and aims to add two more computing<br />
modules with top-of-the-market specifics.</p>
