Dear Users,</p>
<p>as announced, Marconi100 cluster has been shutdown for the final dismission<br />
after end of production. We remind you all that it is still possible to login<br />
to M100, access the storage areas, and exploit M100 datamover till the end of<br />
October 2023. After that date, it will not be possible to acces the cluster<br />
anymore.</p>
<p>We strongly recommend you to start organizing the transfer of your files and<br />
folders from M100 to Leonardo as long as the cluster will become available<br />
for all users. To speed up the transfer we suggest you to organize your data<br />
into a limited number of larger size files. To this end, you can create large<br />
compressed archives (such as .tgz, zip, gz or .xz) out of your data, so as to<br />
reduce the total number of files to be copied. Please remember that within a<br />
month we will set the M100 filesystem in read-only mode. Therefore proceed to<br />
create your compressed archive files as soon as possible.</p>
