CLX Available - Read Carefully !!!

The CLX system is now available.
Notice that TWO MAJOR CHANGES are present.

1. SFS filesystem, SHARED between ALL CINECA platforms, is available
(read/write).
- Home are in $CINECA_HOME
- Data repository filesystem is in $CINECA_DATA
- HIGH PERFORMANCE worhing area is /scratch   (not shared, subjected to
automatic file deletion)
- login home are small (2 MByte) and must not be used as working areas
(only for configuration files)
- OLD HOME (before August 1) have been copied in $CINECA_HOME/CLX

2. The queue system has changed. Now it is LSF (no more OpenPBS). This
means that you have to change the submission scripts and the way you
manage and monitor jobs. Read carefully the User Guide

in particular section "Running applications with LSF", from page 11.

Major changes to the NEW version of the User Guide:
- LSF presented as basic, shared queue system. Load Leveler is still
present on SP5 but it will soon replaced by LSF
- LSF usage guide
- "Running applications" section eliminated both in CLX and XD1 sections
- Any PBS reference dropped
- CLX "disk space" section changed
- XD1 FPGA nodes description added
- bsub faq added
