DECI Call 2008

Dear HPC users at CINECA

The DEISA Consortium is currently calling for proposals for the fourth
generation of DECI applications that will be supported and/or deployed
starting November 2008. The deadline of the call is June 30th, 2008.

If your call is accepted, you will receive a substantial allotment of
supercomputer time on Europe's fastest computers. In addition, DEISA is
ready to provide extraordinary support to Grid- and HPC-enabling of
your application. In some cases, this support can entail a medium term
commitment of human resources for application redesign and enabling
work (i.e., an engineer from DEISA will work with you on the code for
several months). Training sessions for potential and current users on
how to use the DEISA infrastructure are organized regularly. DEISA
support will be granted to cover the travel expenses for participants
who need to travel to attend the training session.

how to proceed and will assist you in preparing your proposal.
