Dear Users,

we forward you this announcment about different positions
in computational physics/chemistry

2 Postdoc/Researcher and 1 Ph.D. positions up to four years, are available
at the Theoretical and Computational Division of the National
Nanotechonology Laboratory of CNR-INFM, Lecce, Italy.

We are seeking for candidates with experience in development of simulation
tools, who can make significant contributions in one or more of the
following areas:

• Computational Electrodynamics for nanoplasmonics; Modeling of optical
properties of organic molecules near noble metal nanoparticles;
• Modeling of interfaces between organic molecules and noble metals
surfaces; Implementation of embedding approaches, orbital free density
functional theory or surface green functions.
• Development of new exchange-correlation functional for density
functional theory
• The positions are funded from by the ERC-Starting Grant (FP7-Ideas)
Project DEDOM (Development of Density Functional methods for Organic-Metal
interaction), July 2008-June 2013.

The Ph.D. position (thee-years long) is available as an additional
scholarship at the Scuola Superiore ISUFI at the University of Salento
(http://www.isufi.unile.it/)

For the postdoc/Researcher positions, applicants should have a Ph.D.
degree in theoretical/computational chemistry, condensed matter physics
and other closely related fields.
Candidates must be younger than 35 years.
Applications should include: CV; list of publications; a description of
research experience; a description of simulation methods implemented by
the candidate;at least two letters of recommendation or the reference
