We are pleased to announce the 5th Workshop on Computational Aspects of Deep Learning (CADL 2025), to be held in conjunction with the ISC High Performance conference ( (https://urldefense.com/v3/__https://isc-hpc.com/__;!!P1tgJ-3e!BympifF7QYxA0Zo_jmpJuI8Evh0wu6ycktq1Wv7UX1QVxMeZnw1nKEm2YSU1DVun_nvNpNDLVbP-8HKni5A$) https://isc-hpc.com/ (https://isc-hpc.com/) ). CADL 2025 aims to bring together experts from Deep Learning and High-Performance Computing to address critical challenges in advancing AI through efficient computing.
Workshop Focus
CADL 2025 will explore innovative approaches to optimize neural architectures, training procedures, and infrastructure to ensure model effectiveness, scalability, and energy efficiency. We welcome submissions on a wide range of topics, including but not limited to:
Optimization strategies for reducing energy consumption in deep learning
Novel architectures and operators for data-intensive scenarios
Distributed and efficient reinforcement learning algorithms
Large-scale pre-training techniques for real-world applications
Utilization of HPC and massively parallel architectures for deep learning
Model pruning, gradient compression, and quantization techniques
Efficient deep learning for edge and embedded devices
Green AI: Sustainable practices and carbon footprint reduction
Scalable and efficient multi-modal learning architectures
Computational aspects of AI safety and robustness
Submission Guidelines
Full papers should be submitted in PDF format, up to 12 pages (excluding references)

Camera-Ready Submission: May 16, 2025
Workshop Date: June 13, 2025
Review Process
Submissions will undergo a rigorous peer-review process for oral presentations.
