<p>are you interested in material science? </p>
<p>Do you know that many of your computational problems on Material Science can be solved using the High Performing Computing and the right tools? </p>
<p>Cineca in collaboration with CSCS and PRACE (<a href="http://www.prace-ri.eu">www.prace-ri.eu</a>) presents the course: </p>
<p><span style="font-size: 13.008px;">MATERIAL SCIENCE CODES ON INNOVATIVE HPC ARCHITECHTURES: TARGETING EXASCALE</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 13.008px;">that will be held in Cineca, Casalecchio di Reno (BO, Italy) from 5 to 7 of December 2016. </span></p>
<p>The course will focus of the main codes used by the material science community (namely, Quantum Espresso, Siesta, Yambo, ...) introducing their architecture and usage and will explain how the codes exploit petascale systems, targeting in particular to PRACE Tier 0 systems, and how they are moving to the exascale era, with specific attention to hybrid, accelerated architectures.</p>
<p><span style="font-size: 13.008px;">The course is free of charge and some grants are available for the participant having the requisites.</span></p>
