$CINECA_SCRATCH problem

Dear users,

the filesystem $CINECA_SCRATCH of SP6 is suffering
some instability due to a defective hardware component,
which has not yet being identified precisely.
This problem can cause some component of $CINECA_SCRATCH
to go off line, so you can see, time-to-time, an I/O error.
Note that stored files are only temporary unavailable,
they are not lost, unless they are being written while the
problem occurs. 
Next week hardware experts will be in CINECA to analyse 
the problem and hopefully solve it.
Unfortunately it is not possible to fix it before Easter break,
